Georg Fischer Central Plastics – Expansion in Shawnee
We are excited to share the completion of Georg Fischer’s new Metals Campus in Shawnee, Oklahoma. This 150,000-square-foot LEED Gold manufacturing facility marks a major milestone for our client and for the Shawnee community.
Georg Fischer Central Plastics is North America’s largest single-source manufacturer of advanced plastics and metal solutions for the gas utility industry—and chances are, their products quietly surround us every day. From the infrastructure that delivers natural gas to our homes to the systems that support our cities, GF products play a critical role in our everyday lives and workdays alike.
The $30 million expansion will house production for natural gas meter sets, risers, and transition fittings, along with offices, warehouse space, and shipping and receiving. Relocating these operations allows GF to free up space at its original Shawnee facility for expanded plastics manufacturing, supporting continued growth across both divisions.
Beyond the building itself, the project represents a meaningful investment in Shawnee, with the new campus expected to create up to 300 full-time jobs. Our team along with the Shawnee community and state leaders joined GF for the grand opening this October, celebrating the company’s deep roots in Shawnee and its commitment to the future.
We’re proud to partner with Georg Fischer on a project that supports essential infrastructure, job creation, and long-term growth right here in Oklahoma.
